Whenever a pump update is available, we strongly recommend updating to the newest version for the most up-to-date features and fixes for issues you may be experiencing.
Make sure you have updated to the latest version of the Willow Go™ App in order to get access to new pump updates as they become available.
Charge your Willow Go™ pumps for 1.5 hours using a USB charger with a minimum power output of 5 Volt 1 Amp to get a full charge.
Check battery status by observing the indicator light when pressing the power button or while charging. The indicator light will turn off when the pump is fully charged.
Green indicator light - Enough charge for at least three 15-minute pumping sessions
Orange indicator light - Enough charge for at least one 15-minute pumping session
Red indicator light - Inadequate charge for 1 session.
If you are not getting the expected number of 15 minute sessions or if the LED indicator doesn’t turn green after charging for two hours, check the following:
- You are using the USB charging cables provided in your pump kit - they are molded to fit properly into the pump.
- You are using a USB wall adapter. Charging through the USB port of another device such as a computer will limit the charging speed.
- Your single port USB wall charger has a minimum power output of 5 Volt 1 Amp.
- Your dual-port wall charger is at least 5 Watts (5W) and allows for simultaneous charging of two devices (5 Volt 1 Amp per port)
- Need help? Multiply your charger's total output of Volts and Amps to get wattage. If the wattage is 5 or higher, your pumps will reach a full charge within 1.5 hours. If wattage is under 5, your pumps will take longer to reach a full charge. Consider using a higher power output charger.
- Note - Higher wattage single-port and dual-port chargers are acceptable, but will not result in faster charging. Lower wattage chargers are also acceptable, but the pumps will take longer to reach a full charge.
- You are not charging your pump in extreme temperatures which may slow or prevent charging.
